We are excited to welcome Chris Owens, CFP® to Blue Rock Financial Group.
Chris joined us in June 2025, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. With a strong background in financial planning and investment management, Chris has spent his career helping individuals and families align their financial strategies with their life goals. Most recently, he served clients at a respected wealth management firm in Potomac, Maryland, where he played a key role in developing customized planning strategies for high-net-worth households.
What sets Chris apart is not just his technical expertise, but his ability to bring structure and focus to the planning process. He approaches his work with discipline and thoughtfulness—qualities that extend beyond the office. As an accomplished ultra-endurance athlete, Chris has completed events such as Ironman Maryland and the JFK 50 Mile. He applies the same perseverance and strategic mindset to his work with clients, consistently pushing toward results with clarity and purpose.
Chris holds degrees from Glenville State University and Mount Saint Mary’s University, as well as a Certificate in Financial Planning from Northwestern University. He and his family are also deeply committed to philanthropy, regularly raising funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
