Carter McClung’s support and dedication to the success of the 2024 Appoquinimink Workforce Readiness Fair in Wilmington, DE, were instrumental in creating a valuable experience for the 924 students from Middletown, Odessa, and Appoquinimink High Schools. His involvement and mentorship in training students on interviewing skills, general workforce tips, and networking were invaluable, leading to positive feedback from both students and industry partners. Carter was brought on board to discuss financial success and planning tools for children who will soon be graduating high school and entering the work force. Carter’s commitment to the program is greatly appreciated, and the Appoquinimink School District looks forward to future collaborations with him as they continue to build the work-based learning initiative. His contributions have made a significant impact on the students’ futures, and his support is fundamental to the program’s success.
